Small Business Tips: Banking

As a small business, we aim to create efficiencies where we can. That is why it is important to find the right vendors for everything from Human Resource Management to Payroll. When we first started m2 marketing, we opened up a business checking account at a local branch office and then got back to business without understanding some of the benefits and assistance banks provide to their business accounts as a free service.

After discussing various business topics with individuals who had owned a business for a number of years, it was apparent that we were not being as efficient in this area. So, we changed banks and developed a relationship with a bank (KeyBank) that places an emphasis on service. Now, when we need something from the bank or have a question, our account rep is eager to stop by our office, at our convenience, to provide a solution. Best of all, this connection has evolved into a business relationship where we refer clients back and forth to one another!

Aside from the networking aspect of our relationship, the service provided by our current bank has allowed us to focus on our clients first while they do the same. If you are starting a business or have not experienced exceptional service as it relates to banking, I suggest you look into a business account at KeyBank. You will not be disappointed!
