Too often, when websites are being constructed, one of the most important ‘audiences’ of your site, search engine spiders, are .  When thinking about how to setup the navigaiton (internal links to the various pages on a given site)  the developer needs to consider the usability from 2 perspectives - people and search engines.

In addition to making it easy for all people (including those with disabilities) to access the various pages on your site via the site navigation, your site should provide search engines with an easy-to-follow link structure providing organized access to all pages.
